Educational FluxKit suitcases
The FluxKit suitcase was created by Agnė Taliūtė, an educator at the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum. Flux-Kit is a set of educational tools to learn about the Fluxus movement. It includes six different activities for children and non-children. The suitcase allows you to create, play, experience and smell art. The suitcase includes the following items: a magnetic board "High-Low", elements of mail art (postcards, stickers, stamps), Fluxus checkers (scented), a dice and card game "Parti-Tura", Fingerboxes with their different textures of materials, a puzzle "One Eye is Enough", a Fluxus newspaper.
The design and illustrations were created in a manner that was a reflection of the Fluxus artistic movement. As we have a room in the museum dedicated to Jurgis Mačiūnas, this artist was our inspiration.
The design and illustrations had to be appealing to children, but at the same time they had to keep the spirit of Fluxus and not become too childish. So I combined the bright colours of the objects with the black drawing.
